    Why Buy From 3D Printernational

Ember Prototypes Camera-Assisted XY Calibration Tool

The Camera-Assisted XY Calibration Tool (CXC) is a small device used to easily perform XY offset calibration on dual extruder and IDEX 3D printers, without the need for printing line patterns.

Ember Prototypes Camera-Assisted XY Calibration Tool Product Features

    • Universal Compatibility
The CXC Will work for any printer that has the ability to manually jog in 0.1mm Increments or lower and manually edit the XY nozzle offsets.

    • Maximize Efficiency
Calibrating your printer used to be a painstaking and time-consuming process that left room for human error. The CXC solves this problem for 3D printing operators by introducing a camera assisted calibration process.

    • User Friendly
The CXC was designed to be as simple and universal as possible. The CXC can be installed on any printer and calibration takes less than 5 minutes.

    • Simple Set-Up
Installation and setup appear to be relatively simple, as seen in a step-by-step instructional video released by Ember Prototypes. All you’ll need is a Windows-capable computer, the ability to move your 3D printer’s gantry in steps of 0.1 mm or less, and the ability to manually clear and override XY calibration values.
